New Restaurant in Omaha

My husband Chris has a friend that he used to work with that recently opened a new restaurant in Omaha. This is a huge new venture for this family. Please visit Buffalo Wings and Rings on L between 132nd and 120th. . We chose to eat out on Tuesday cause our house wasn't cool from our AC being down. What a great choice! We had a variety of wings - bone in and boneless, a wrap, fries, onion rings and we even had fried pickles. The menu had something for everyone! We had several guests with us and we all had a very nice meal. The atmosphere was fun and perfect for the TV enthusiast - I think there were like 40 something TVs. My girls thought it was funny - even TVs in the restrooms!

Jerry's Pizza

My sweet friend Lori-her parent's started Jerry's Pizza in Sioux City, Iowa - I don't know how many years ago. She brought us a a Jerry's pizza for dinner tonight and it was amazing. If you have never eaten a Jerry's - I recommend you stop if you are ever passing through Sioux City. My favorite is hamburger, pepperoni and green olive-yum! The other half is canadian bacon and pineapple for my girls! Thanks Lori-What a great treat for dinner!

MaMa's Pizza - lunch with Sunday School friends

We have the BEST Sunday School Class ever-the SONseekers. We attend Westside Church here in Omaha and have for all 12 years we have lived here. Our class is such a caring, supportive group of friends. We have established this tradition of eating lunch together almost every Sunday. We have a variety of favorite places - we have to find a place that opens at 11 and can handle our loud, large bunch. Today, we went to MaMa's Pizza at 156th and Pacific. It is a favorite due the onion rings which are amazing, the pizza, the homemade garlic ranch dressing, the large eating area, the way the tables are arranged so we can put the guys at one table, the ladies at another and the kids at others plus... it is just down the parking lot from Pettit's Pastry!
We love to eat out - actually we love to eat. Our Meg just got home from church camp today and she was craving french fries. Chris had eaten this yummy slider from Ted's Nebraska Grill at the "O" party at Legacy in West Omaha last night. He thought it was so yummy... we talked Meg into going there tonight for dinner. The other two girls were busy. It was awesome - definitely a favorite place. We shared salt and pepper onion rings - Chris and Meg both ordered burgers and I shared with Meg. If you don't make this a regular stop - I really do recommend it!
