Bonda Lime

Coconut water is the juice of young tender coconuts and is a natural energy drink. It is delicious, refreshing and very nutritious and has tremendous health benefits. Coconut water is naturally sweet, ingratiating, promoting proper digestion, and naturally helps clearing our urinary paths, and lubricating our body systems. India is one of the leading producers of coconuts in the world producing 13 billion nuts per annum.

Bonda or Shiyala/tender coconut  gets back my childhood memories… where we used to fight for the Malai and even the Karki( the layer after the malai) oh those where the days when we used to wait for Dad to remove the malai from the tender coconut.
The weather is meant to be cold from October…. But m sure many are wondering here in the coastal areas if its October really???? As its still hot …. Phew….

So here is something Natural to quench the thirst.

Juice of 1 lime
1 glass of water

White Sesame/Yellu- 100 Gm
Elaichi Powder/Cardamom powder- 1 tsp
Grated Jaggery - 100 gm
Method:
Wash and Soak sesame in water for 10 minutes. Grind this in mixer.
After the seeds are grinded properly, add the jaggery and grind it properly. Add required quantity of water while grinding.
Filter the grinded ingredients using tea filter. Add more water to liquefy and make it into a juice consistency. Its tastes Super. Sesame seeds are very rich in calcium.
It really tastes great when chilled and served.
