Birthday Part 2 & Wedding Weekend

Thank you all for the sweet, sweet birthday wishes! And I apologize for going MIA- we headed to Maryland for a wedding this weekend and are just getting back! I promise to catch up on all of your blogs & post more recipes this week :)

The rest of my birthday was fantastic. I got a sweet card from Frank:

birthday part 3 001 and the man took me out for dinner and dessert. Josh had wanted to take me to a fancier restaurant in Charleston, but I voted that cheap Mexican was much more my style ;). We tried a new to us restaurant, Rio Grande:

Plus some add ins (I didn’t eat the beans as they’re usually not vegetarian friendly):

The restaurant was tasty and the service was quick! We will definitely be returning.

Afterwards we had some “cake” aka Fresh Berry. I got vanilla with blueberries, cherries and kiwi:

Josh got Fresh Berry Tart with pineapple, kiwis and cherries:

A fabulous night! We were up and out the door early Friday, bound for MD for a wedding. Our old roommate (Jordan) got married! I didn’t take many pictures as my camera was dying. The bride and groom (Gina’s dress was GORGEOUS):

They got married right on the water, it was beautiful!
