Family Time

Thank you all for the anniversary wishes! We had a really nice, low key evening. Since Josh is still on crutches, we decided to skip fresh berry (since it would have meant him hobbling around on the uneven Charleston side walks) and headed for dinner at Vespa, a little pizza cafe on Daniel Island. The food was OK, nothing too exciting or special, but definitely fresh. We just simply enjoyed our time together without distractions. The waitress took a photo of us, but must have moved as it came out a bit blurry:

Both of our parents spoiled us on our anniversary! My parents sent us this gorgeous arrangement:

When I arrived home from a long day of work yesterday, Josh parents and brother had arrived. We chatted it up and then headed to one of Josh’s favorite spots, Liberty Taproom.  I was super excited to see they had changed their menu. I got the Fresh fruit and mixed greens salad minus the bacon dressing. Instead I got their awesome honey lime vinaigrette. My salad came with a delicious corn muffin:

Off to work I go! This weekend should be pretty low key. Teaching Saturday morning (Step & Pump), lots of time with Josh’s family and a blogger meet up on Sunday. What are you up to?

I want to send a BIG Happy Birthday out to the fabulous Ms. Lindsay!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you have an amazing day.
