Body Pump 74 Launch & Weekend

I hope that you have been enjoying your weekend so far! My weekend has been really wonderful. Friday, I received a very fun package from my MIL that contained an adorable embroidered Itzy’s Kitchen bag, along with some new Itzy’s Kitchen dish towels. Love them!

I also baked up some muffins to bring to the other instructors at our Body Pump launch. I used Jessie’s High Fiber Double Chocolate Muffin recipe and this ginormous muffin mold. (BTW- I am still blind photographing, so I apologize for the pictures):

The only change I made to her recipe was to cut back on the sugar a bit and use half rolled oats, half oat bran vs. all oat bran. The outcome was super fudgy and amazing. Thank you Jessie!!

Friday night, we went out to eat with friends and then attended a graduation party. We had a blast. Saturday morning was exercise filled! My Mom came down to Charleston to take my Body Step class and then to attend our Body Pump Launch. The launch was AWESOME! Here are some pictures

Instructors! We were supposed to do a summer theme…but we didn’t end up all getting the message…so we had no theme instead haha (I’m in the pink top/black skirt):

After the launch, my adorable Mama & I met Josh at Charleston’s Cafe (heaven) for brunch:

The rest of the day has been spent starting to learn my Body Step choreography (launch coming up soon), doing work around the house, and relaxing with Josh & Frank.

Dinner was a hodge podge for me. For Josh, I cooked up some scallops topped with everyday seasoning & red pepper in a little olive oil & butter.

I threw it on top of some rice and served it with corn on the cob and unpictured watermelon and yogurt:
