HomeI have really enjoyed this weekend so far! How about you? Friday night, Josh and I ran out to do errands and to grab some dinner. We went to a local Mexican place, Rio Grande. We started with the obvious:
For dinner, I had the Rio Grande salad: greens with fresh veggies & fruit, cheese, shrimp, and topped with salsa. So good!
Saturday was a day of to dos. I started my day with a nice walk and then got down to business: weeding, dusting, vacuuming, ironing, fertilizing our plants (don’t worry- I wore gloves and such to protect the peanut to be), laying down grass seed, organizing the pantry and walking Frank.
I’m so proud of our garden!! My Dad (the certified master gardener) gave us all the guidance and help we needed. We now have tomatoes, jalapenos, green beans, watermelon, squash and cantaloupe growing away:
After getting cleaned up, we had an easy turkey stir fry dinner. Josh had his over rice:
And I had mine on top of lettuce and carrots:
Today? Not sure! Still have a few more to-dos to cross off, but I’m hoping to get a good deal of relaxing in.
