E: Chobani Caesar Salad, Winner & Pregnancy Update

As always, I hope you’re having a great weekend! We have had a great one so far! Friday night, I made up a Caesar salad of sorts with a dressing made using Chobani yogurt!!

weekend 006

I got the idea and recipe from this lovely lady (who you may recognize from the Chobani commercial :)). The original recipe was put together by Jamie Oliver and I just slightly modified it:

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup low-fat or nonfat Greek-style yogurt
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 1/4-1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • Directions:

Whisk all ingredients together and mix into your favorite salad combination.

The taste is AWESOME! I used the dressing on a spinach salad with broccoli slaw, hearts of palm, Arnolds thins “croutons” (I sliced up an Arnolds thin and baked the pieces at 350 degrees F until toasty) and turkey cutlets rubbed with this mixture & cooked up:

Friday night, we went to the movies with Mandi & Bryan and saw Hall Pass. I thought it was cute and pretty funny….its more of a romantic comedy than the previews lead you to believe. I think the rest of the group thought it was going to be better. Saturday morning, I taught Pump and then my Mom and I went and registered for the baby.

    Speaking of baby……its a…..
