E: Babymoon in Jamaica

Hello all! I hope you all had a great week!! This past week for Josh & I was WONDERFUL because we went on a “babymoon” in Jamaica! You may remember that around this time last year, we went to Jamaica and there was a huge mix up with our resort (basically the resort we were staying at didn’t finish construction in time for our trip). The result of this mix up was a comp-ed stay this year (minus flight). We stayed at the Secrets (couples only resort) Wild Orchid in Montego Bay. This was our second stay at a Secrets (our first was our honeymoon in Mexico):

This resort was much nicer and more relaxing than the resort we stayed at last year. I just love Secrets resorts.  For some reason, we got upgraded to the preferred club (which meant we had access to a private concierge lounge, internet access, etc).

Our room was modern and very comfortable:

We had a blast lounging by the pools:

Hitting up the hotel gym and basketball courts daily:

Ok…I more or less watched Josh play basketball. At 5’1”, I’m not exactly a b-ball all star ;).

We also enjoyed fabulous breakfasts and lunches outside:

And just relaxed by the Ocean(note the bump ;)):

The restaurants at Secrets are all delicious. Our favorite two dinner spots were the Italian and Mexican restaurants. First night (sleepy “I’ve been up since 3 AM” eyes):

And our last night in Jamaica:IMG_1345

It was a great “babymoon”. Josh captured this picture of the sun starting to set behind my bump:

And now its almost the weekend! Tomorrow is Josh’s birthday and I can’t wait to celebrate it up! What are you doing this weekend? Anything exciting go on for you this week (catch me up!!)?
